A little bit about me

I grew up in Liverpool shooting black and white photography, learning that light and shade is as important as colour and composition in the creative process. I use those lessons every time I raise a camera to my eye.

 

After a lifetime working as a photo-journalist I’m now following my passion for photographing the great outdoors around my hometown of Helensburgh and exploring the West Coast of Scotland, in all its seasons and moods. On days when the weather is too wild to venture outside, I work on a studio project photographing iconic Scottish objects. 

 

I am open to commissions for both personal and commercial projects and can supply, through my Scottish printing partners, a range of prints, canvases and posters, framed and unframed and greetings cards with my unique images.
